Last time I ran through Paris airport Charles de Gaulle I remember being struck by a the cover of a magazine, french Le Monde. I now know that it was the work of Chen Man that stood out.

My computer crashed last week and I have spent days getting back it’s content (thank you Time Capsule…) So now with a new shiny Apple friend I am back on track.
As many others I recently discovered young chinese photographer Chen Man. So far I haven’t found out much about her, although I intend to, I am already enchanted by her work…

It was close that I put a black stripe on my eyes (hehe), but no. I really like these photos, taken about a year ago at the L2 showroom where I had an exhibition opening. House Of Mendi goes Campadre
Campadre is, as they call themselves, a “Private Shopping Club” with members in Sweden as well as Norway, Denmark and Finland. They work with over 400 brands within fashion, design, beauty and lifestyle products, both international luxury brands and local designers. The idea is to run shorter exclusive “one week” campaigns and be able to offer better prices to their members…

New Prints out!
“Muerte Before & After” and “Marcelle” are now for Sale in the Shop!
Considering the nice feed back I got on Muerte I knew I wanted to make prints of it… I really liked the “unfinished” sketch before colouring it and could’nt make up my mind SO, people, I made both!
And regarding the size, well, I haven’t made small prints in a long time; they are easy to place in a home and more affordable. Just one or together looks good!
Two smaller , 35 cm x 35 cm, Fine Art Giclée prints in black/white or black/blue shades AND a big lady in 70 cm x 50 cm in rich dark colors… Editions of 10 and 15 pieces only, all signed & numbered as usual… Perfect X- Mas gift right?

Le Bistro à Skellefteå! Oui oui!
I sometimes work on commission. The “customer” can choose size of the painting, format, a color scale and we can also discuss a theme or to include specific elements in the picture…
I was asked by my friends and restaurant owners who are now opening two new restaurants in Skellefteå/Sweden to paint a piece. There will be a Gourmet restaurant and a french Bistro. That’s where I come in…
The painting that was going to be exposed there had to, obviously, feel “French” to fit the rest of the interior. Classic bistro, mixed with a raw industry feeling.
So a couple of Paris trips with Sarah, breakfast at Café de Flore and dinner at Bofinger to get back to the roots hehe, I chose to blend clichés, decades and ad a hint of “decadanse” and I portraited my Marcelle….
And for those of you who also fall in love with her, there are brand new Fine Art Giclée prints available within two days!
The Bistro has opening night December 2:nd.
Melle Pingouin and others
I’ve had for quite some time, frame pieces in different lengths at the warehouse… unassembled and for some various reasons put aside. I didn’t want to use them, finding them too small. Until now.
After working on several big pieces that obviously take much longer time I wanted to make “quickies” and have fun filling the canvases. So for a bit of a challenge, I’ve put them together, five frames in sizes 1 m x 1m up to 1,5 m x 125 cm. Quite small for me but it invites to another thinking and variations… And there’ll be a new video on the second & third paintings, shooting these days…
